The "eSeaGo" is a complimentary mobile application designed to facilitate the display of chart information pertinent to Hong Kong waters. Users can conveniently download chart data provided by the Hydrographic Office of the Marine Department and access it both online and offline. Integrating the positioning capabilities of mobile devices, "eSeaGo" aids vessels navigating in Hong Kong’s nautical environment. It is important to note that the application provides content in raster format, which should not be utilized as a replacement for traditional paper charts or electronic navigational charts. Furthermore, "eSeaGo" is not intended for navigational use and should not substitute any navigational equipment mandated by applicable laws or regulations.

Key features of the “eSeaGo” include:

<li>Access to up-to-date chart information for offline display available for download.</li>
<li>Online display of current chart information.</li>
<li>Notifications for updates to chart information.</li>
<li>Weather warning notifications from the Hong Kong Observatory.</li>
<li>Options for "Portrait" or "Landscape" display orientation.</li>
<li>Display of speed information.</li>
<li>True bearing and remaining distance to user-defined routes.</li>
<li>Customizable layers, route points, and points of interest.</li>
<li>User tracking function with the capability to export tracks in Keyhole Markup Language (KML) format.</li>
<li>Access to Lands Department basemaps (imagery or topographic) for online viewing.</li>
<li>User-defined speed values for estimated time of arrival calculations.</li>
<li>Power-saving mode.</li>
<li>Links to relevant websites.</li>
<li>Inclusion of a legend for reference.</li>
<li>Online display of weather and tidal information.</li>
<li>Search features for harbor facilities and place names, as well as latitude and longitude coordinates.</li>
<li>Offline display of maritime information, including Speed Restricted Zones.</li>
<li>Ability to import and export KML files for routes, custom layers, and points of interest.</li>
